3I'm speaking to you out of deep gratitude for all that God has given me, and especially as I have responsibilities in relation to you. Living then, as every one of you does, in pure grace, it's important that you not misinterpret yourselves as people who are bringing this goodness to God. No, God brings it all to you. The only accurate way to understand ourselves is by what God is and by what he does for us, not by what we are and what we do for him.

Revelation 3:17

Everything good I am is God. Anything I have ever accomplished, anything good that I have done, seen or been has only been because of God. I cannot boast, not even in my own thinking when I think to myself. That I have the talent to be fit, stylish, creative, charismatic, cute, funny, inventive, lovely, feminine, smart, eccentric, original. It's all because of God, not because of me, I can take no credit at all. Whatever others are are what they are and this world is a melting part of many different things. I must value the good above all.

Luke 16:15
