In God Centered Relationships:

* God is the focus of the relationship
* You bring out the spiritual best in each other
* You serve and reach out together
* Purity is the standard (It's possible to be emotionally impure w/out ever "touching")
* You talk about the things of God
* Pleasing God is the goal
* You get sound spiritual advice
* Your relationship is a model to the believers

In Self-Centered Relationships:

* Pleasing self is the focus of the relationship
* There's a strong independence (determination to figure things out for yourself rather than getting advice from people who have been there before
* Serving and reaching out are not the focus or topic of conversations
* Purity is not the standard
* You argue or fight often
* It's spiritually shallow
* You don't bring out the spiritual best in each other
* Fun and pleasure are the focus rather than building the kingdom.
