What's really going on backstage

clarity in front view

Ahhh, Just what I needed for a rainy morning. Thinking.....

What's wrong
isn't the song
that God sings so beautiful and sweet
than why this defeat?
why these tears?
why these thoughts so consumed with fears
thinkin what the heck is wrong???

takin a sip of hot green tea
listenin to that badu
a line of words sent from you
is refreshing to the soul
especially when that storm
takes it's toll

a missing chord is all it takes
to connect
how could those things
we are without
keep us from that
which we reflect and smile

trying to stay away from that which
pollutes the soul
sometimes the things we crave
is what allows us to dig our own grave
into the hopelessness of the game
thinking I wish things would change
I wish things were different
but years pass by and all you
can do is sigh and move along
take that inspiration when it comes
and just look the other way
saying one day.... ..

maybe one day

it will all make sense why things are the way they are
maybe clarity will be in the front view..............
and I just gotta know you for you.
